Fashion + Blog

It’s merely 12 hours to go before the half of May begins. Yes, it is fast and I can’t even remember what happened during the month of April. The days just flew fast and I didn’t even feel the summer (but not literally). I am working as a Human Resource Executive in an e-commerce business and if you want to take a crack, you can visit them at Zalora.ph or Lazada.ph. I am keeping my ass on the chair for almost 4 months now and as of this very moment of time, I can’t even explain and express how happy am I working here. I never expected in my 20 years of existence that I would be an HR who will conduct interviews, exams and eventually decides who are in and who are out.

Actually, during my high school days, I am the type of guy who can’t really speak in English straight, I mean not fluent but of course I can understand English language since we have subjects like literature and arts. I can even try to write an essay and there was this time that I have to copy an article online just to have my homework done. But of course, as time passes by, some changes happened. I started reading books, yes, as in that thick novels that made me not to go outside of my room for a one whole freaking day. I can’t even talk to my own mother! How was that!

Anyways, I know you know the book Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, I believe everyone had a chance to read even just one book of the saga. That was the first time I fell in love into reading. Reading basically transports you to the world that reality cannot give, a world where unbelievable characters exist and magical powers occur. I am in love with how J.K. write books, she really do have an impeccable imagination that none of few of us can think of. I, myself can’t write a book, it is not because I am not creative or something, I just don’t have this confidence that the book that I’ll be writing will be as great as other books are.

Well, one of my dreams is to become a writer or a fashion contributor in a high-fashion magazine.

Let’s talk about high-fashion. Well, let me just say, I am a fashion-savvy but not as perfect as David Guison or Robbie Becroft. Actually, I just started being such a fashion monster when someone introduced me this heaven called lookbook.nu. I am saying the word correctly, heaven. Lookbook.nu is a fancy site where anybody can post their own fashion aura, whether you are a girl, boy, gay or lesbian. It is definitely a place where you can get inspirations when it comes to mixing and matching of clothes, from head to toe. If you are a trying hard fashion lover like me, well, I can suggest that this place is the right place for you. Like what I’ve said, it’s the nest of every aspiring model, the home of glamour and high-fashion. It is actually addicting, I swear.
I am not that luxury brand buff and honestly I do not care about how cheap the brands of clothes I have. I am the type of person who will just mix, match and go! I don’t care what others will tell me, I don’t care how strange the combinations are, I am just expressing what I want and I don’t dress to impress. Fashion is for everybody, whether you are just a simple guy or a brand buff one, it is your call on how you can carry your look. Believe me, it is, indeed, fun!

Let's Rock!

Today, I went to SM Calamba (nearest mall that has Bench Fix Salon) to be pampered, yes!, sometimes, I need to give some time for myself! (Feeling busy?) Anyways, I was with my girlfriend so I can say it was a surprise-date.

The Set-up. Of course, the branch here is quite smaller than the other branches like Glorietta and Trinoma but still, I can say that the stylists are pretty good and they are nice.

I hate waiting, at all. Good thing, that store has magazines!

After 5 minutes, voila! My hair became short!

There! Finishing touches! Jojo is my stylist and he's the best stylist in the branch and good thing he's straight man so he knows what I want with my hair and what's good for hair. I like his kinky gold hair, high-fashion! My haircut costs Php 185.00 + a tip, of course!

The First Woman I Love.

A woman that I love.
A woman that gives me life.
A woman that gives me comfort.
A woman that does everything for her family.
A woman that cares.
A woman that never leave her family at risk.
A woman that we love.

Mom.

In my 20 years of existence, there is this very special woman in my life that comforts me, loves me and believes in me. She is my one and only Mom. She's our sailor moon. She protects us, she gives us hope in every challenges that we face. She prepares my breakfast, my lunch and even my dinner with love. I can't think of any word that could describe her because even the word "perfect" is not enough. She's the first woman I ever loved. Now & Forever.

I love her more than anybody else. She's my savior. She's the best.

I love you, Mom.

Awesome Jessica Sanchez is Awesome!

"And I am telling you, I'm not going", a song sang by a young girl who gave me goosebumps!

If you haven't heard about Jessica, then you don't have a television or you must be deaf.

If you still haven't seen her phenomenal performance, here it is:

I never been a fan of any singing competition until Jessica Sanchez gave me the reason why I should watch American Idol.

Jessica Sanchez is a half Filipino and half Mexican sixteen year old girl who is one of the contestants of the said show. She is phenomenal, stupendous and outstanding young girl who sings like a professional! Imagine, with her age of 16, she can growl and sing big songs effortlessly! She is really great and I don't have any doubt that she will be the next American Idol!

This is Jessica when she was seven years old! Yes, she started singing during her early stage that is why now, she sings like a pro!

JLO asked Jessica: "When did you start growling?"
Jess said, "I started doing it when I was seven!"

See? She's really talented and her voice is a gift from God! Wow!

Well, I am proud to say that we, Filipinos are actually great when it comes to singing. Yes, I am bragging.

Have you heard about the internet singing sensation Charice Pempengco, who has been invited by Ellen and Ophrah to sing Whitney Houston's big songs? I know you do! Charice lives in Laguna and I have seen her performing once in a singing contest held in Laguna. She is really a great singer, indeed. I never knew that one day, she will be famous with her very beautiful and powerful voice. And now, she's now an international recording artist and being managed by David Foster.

If you haven't watched any Charices' performance, here it is:

This was her performance on ASAP, one of the television shows in the Philippines under ABS-CBN.

Jessica and Charice are such great singers to think that they are still young! I am really proud that we Filipinos can bring out best talents not only here in our own country but also worldwide!

I really wish that Jessica will win the competition, I know she will!

Inspiration

Recently, I've been googlin' around to look for some blogs where I can find inspiration for my own blog. I am seeing a lot of good personal and fashion blogs on the web and some of them became my favorites.

I am definitely not fashion savvy, at all but these sites are giving me a lot of inspirations when it comes to fashion and eventually, I am becoming a fashion-conscious type of person.

First on my list is David Guison's personal fashion blog.
http://davidguison.com

When it comes to the fashion blog, DGMNL is one of my favorites. He always gives me such an inspiration when it comes to fashion. Though I do not have that toned body and branded clothes, I am still trying hard (yes, trying hard) to mimic some of his outfits. Also, I read some of his interviews from other blogs and found out that he just started as a normal blogger using Tunblr.

He is now also being sponsored by different brands like Canon, Topman, Forever 21 Men, and other cool brands which is awesome and I am really jealous that he is getting clothes, gadgets and other stuff.

Next is Robby becroft.
http://robbieoffduty.com

The things I like about Robby's blog are his posts about his personal experiences just about everything.

Well, they are just two of my most favorite sites and they serve as my inspiration when it comes to blogging. I can say that I am still a noob in the blogging industry but I believe that someday, my blog will be as famous as others blog.

Just Sharin'.
